Hay in NSW continues to cop it: 47mm so far today.
We just seemed to be on the edge of everything today. Absolutely no low level cloud atm in this southerly.
It'll be interesting to see where the cloud mass in NW NSW goes tonight. Really need some cyclogenesis SW of here to steer it this way...

After a day of waiting patiently it's just begun, WOOT!
Light rain has started to fall after a day of drizzle. Great totals for some already, it's going to be a wonderful night here

Emptied the gauge again. Up to 69mm now although rain has eased off temporarily. So much for the 25mm that EC and GFS were going for.

.....it felt a bit icy with the windchill!!

It's annoying isn't it.. This system just isn't going right into the south west northern country. I think we maybe done for heavy falls unless something devlops, but most of the heavy stuff is moving east.

Steady rain around here at the moment. Convergence band from the NE moving in. The northern sky was indigo blue with 3 teired shelf moving down from the north with scud from the south in a single file flying in. Too dark for pictures.
Should see atleast 30mm more here.

/cry....
Hit the highest hill in Seymour only to see a heap of activity and within 10 minutes was washed out...
Oh well. Still some good consistant rain had about 10mm in the last 30 minutes so all is looking good for a drenching. violet is up looking at the squall lines heading towards Albury, lucky bugga! Good luck mate.

About to crack the 1000mm for the year. Just 0.9mm off it and rain coming in now will achieve that in about 10 minutes or so. Last time we got over 1000mm was 2000 which was another big La Nina year.

LMAO! Nice one!
Very large fat drops here now. Not long. No scud in the sky at the moment so the rain to the north is dominating the region.
