I am about to get slammed! Radio going nuts - very dark sky in the west/NW. But the tracker is blank around here??

Showers on and off here all day, still continuing. Cloudy for the most part. Very warm and muggy though.
Should see some thunderstorm development over western areas as well later this afternoon.
Storms moving SSE over central parts at the moment so Melbourne is looking good for some action in the next few hours.

And bang goes the radar immediately to my west! Wow, that just appeared like magic!
Edit: I'm sure I'm hearing distant rumbles here, anyone else getting it?

I'm not sure that surface conditions are all that great here. SW breeze and not much convection going on...

Hey lily, just got home, and hearing it to our south west.
Was some great views on the drive south. Saw the rotation Karl mentioned, and AM band was going mental. Raining here now, with some quite "green" clouds to my west suggesting hail. Gusts starting to get up too

Missed me by 'that' much....
Was fun to hear the rumbles and watch the rain shaft explode, but all I got was a few drops. Sun has popped through now...

That cell that just went over here really was monstrous looking! Plenty of rotation and very low. Now moving towards Cranbourne with a black core.
About 15 seconds of fat drops here, then a sunny break, now looking very dark again.

Wow, that one in the SE burbs popped out of nowhere! Only looked at the radar after I got the STW for the SE suburbs on the pager a few moments ago.
Looking south from Doncaster there was masses of big black sky, looking quite dark to the north and east too now I look closer.

Got a great view and couple of pics from that Springvale cell. Awesome shelf with lowerings!
This was what I was expecting based on yesterday' data but got cold afternoon seeing charts this morning!
EDIT: 6mm in not much time at Moorabbin!
