A question I've always wanted to ask but have been too embarrassed!
What are the atmospheric and other pre-conditions for a really photogenic guster (like those seen in Darwin, QLD, NSW and occasionally VIC)? Is it possible to tell visually if, when and where a guster might form? Is it possible to predict a guster from info available on BoM radar, doppler, satellite pics, etc?
Any info greatly appreciated.
