The decaying storm system spilled down from the mountains last evening with a few distant rumbles and flashes, settled into a period of light rain which delivered 4.5mm.

Will see if the trough heads east back over us this arvo, warm calm humid cloudy here atm.

Been away for a week down at Inverloch. Just tipped out 32mm for that period, including 10mm from a storm earlier this arvo. Muggy as out there now.

Looks like we missed most of the nasty stuff, everything very green here from the Christmas Day rain.

something brewing out in the western district, looks like it will go north, haha too south or north seems to be the way cant win, it has to go between eventually

was really hoping for a good downpour to test the gutters!

Nice storm here this evening. Plenty of lightning and thunder. Rainfall was only moderate, so just 3mm recorded. Looks much more intense on the northern side of the Macedon Ranges, now heading east.

26C down here south of Hobart, so also quite toastie. Got a few cells build over the nearby ranges but the southeasterly kept them largely off the coastal plains. Couple of heavy falls backside of Wellington with a number of 20mm+ totals but mostly on 1-2mm. Thats another bust here 😩

We’ve had weeks of humid weather but basically no rain for three weeks. Looking to next week to finally break the pattern.
