Looks like BoM is down to skeleton staff already for end of year. Forecast of fine weather, yet it's raining.
For the second time in 2 weeks, I'm loving my 0% chance of rain for today.

Please post a photo of it. We all love old barometers, about the only instrument that still works after a 100 years!

Guess it's time to hit the snooze button. Nothing but weather boredom for at least the next week or two.
Plenty of garden watering coming up.

Anyone seen the Doppler radar, seems to be something happening near Ballen.

Nice 22C down here in Howden. Had a easterly sea breeze most the day so humid. About 30 seconds of rain mid arvo.
Pretty boring weather pattern atm. Guess next system is the heat later in the week. EC still showing low 50s in northwest Australia around Sunday which would break the December record by rather a lot

50 degree days happen every December without a doubt, just not where the official stations are. Nothing unusual this time around either.

2mm of rain this morning. Good for settling the dust.
Marble Bar is gunning for 48c on the OCF ensemble for Sunday. That's the highest I can see.

0.2mm here
Never looked like much for Tas.
New thread time. Hot start to the weekend followed by a couple of troughs.
