We had a good cover of snow in the wee hours but it had melted back to the trampoline etc. by sunrise.

Almost all our 10mm of precipitation in the last 24 hours has been snow. It's kept snowing on and off since my first report yesterday, but just not quite cold enough to continuously settle!

9.4mm's of Rain up to 9am. MTD now 55.6mm's - Ave is 74mm's.
Had another sleety shower about 2mm's with that and a few snowflakes
but it was mostly rain one or two degrees colder and it would have been full on snow.
Not surprised with the Snow in Gordon.
Heard reports of snow in Narbethong NE of Melbourne elevation about 350 meters.
Temperature has warmed up to just over 5c should Max out at about 8c today.

HEAPs of snow on the mountains of the Upper Yarra today. The camera doesn't do it justice.

This is the most snow I have seen dumped on the mountain range this year. It fell lower on the more north-eastern mountains of the range. In first picture.

Cold, wet and windy day, another day of widespread showers across the state its been a great run though most only getting light falls

Heavy falls along the coast few 30 to 50mm
Heavy showers, snow and hail across parts of the state and most snow resorts 50 to 70cm and still dumping down

Wet in Melbourne today with lots more to come

Reports of snow at the Rainforest Galery earlier, that is just out of our 5km zone though, about 10k away.

Yup you said it. Had torrential downpours here about half an hour, an od rumble or two and some hail. You get anything over your way neighbour?

Great to see Vic having good rain and lots of snow. People thought I was mad when I moved from the drought in Gippy to the drought stricken mid north of SA but Vic was so dry, I thought I may as well go live in the desert.

The day I got here the drought broke. However until last week, it was looking grim for the only yearly crop, the winter sown lupins, wheat, some barley. But the heavens opened up and we have had almost 100mm this month and all the farmers have a smile on their faces. They are tipping a wet spring. So Vic should have a wet spring according to the locals here.

I hope the rains continue for Vic.

Yes, hopefully. Lord knows that farmers, the environment and weather watchers alike need it after the past few summers. However, if a La Nina met with the incredible sums of moisture that has built over northern regions the last few summers we'd potentially have another 2010-2011 on our hands.

Raining pretty much all afternoon here. About 20mm, the bulk of which fell in two four minute downpours. Looks like some more could be inbound later tonight, albeit not to the same extent.
