Well, fantastic for here. Nothing but very heavy rain, completely torrential at times, a fair bit of thunder but no close strikes or flangs, just a tiny bit of small hail and a few relatively minor gusts. No damage yet so that is great.

Looking out the window at the gauge with binoculars (not game to go out even though it has eased for now) and it looks like about 20mm so far.

Large hail here at Camberwell (50c piece size I guess?). Absolutely amazing and more to come.

Very scuddy outside to my south, looking like round 2 to hit here by about 4pm. Might take the proper camera out for another walk. :)

We have just had winds at 100km/h + combined with 20-30mm hail (photos later). I heard something go smash in the house but can't find what it was, but the roof is leaking for the first time ever.

Stay safe people!!!

Rog.

Went down the bay only one flang visible toward the city, wrong decision, should have been looking toward the mountain.

Activity starting to develop widespread across central regions now and beginning in Gippsland as well. Some cells starting to pop up across the Wimmera and Western districts which have missed out so far today and yesterday!

My attempt of making a panorama LOL This all happened infront of me which was so lucky. It actually got scary and at one point the wind was so heavy and destructive and then the hail rolled in.

Sounds like we dodged a bullet with this one :o , more on its way for us from the NW but the sky is much lighter now. I was too busy tidying up to pay much attention to the arrival of this thing but in retrospect, when you need to turn on all the lights inside to see what you are doing and the humidity get to around 95 percent something is certainly coming :sccary:

Hey Juddy,
What are you up to? Wanna come for a drive?
He strolls up to the twister, and he says, *have a drink*. And he chucks the bottle into the twister, and it never hits the ground.

That monster just missed to our south here, but we witnessed clear rotation and a funnel dropped above us as it approached, lasting 30-40 seconds.
Unfortunately missed the photo opp.

What a ripper!

Looking forward to the rest of the meal!

BTW - hardly got more than a few spits...amazing.

Also the almost neon green that preceded the storm was something to behold. Never seen anything like it.
