Tuesday-Wednesday looks wet for the Eastern half of the State. I think we'll be on the boundary of very little or a lot.

Disappointed that our persistent overcast skies blocked out last night's partial lunar eclipse.

BoM Melbourne forecast for today:

Partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a light shower in the northwest suburbs.

Meanwhile here in the south-east, the drizzle comes down in sheets.

Well done BoM. Forecast accuracy 0% for today

Launceston a very pleasant 21.9 degrees currently. Warmer than Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Sydney!

A dry and sunny 21c this afternoon. Very pleasant.

Lots of moisture streaming in from the Indian Ocean into NSW:

Mid-week is looking like 15-30mm here.

Well after a 22 degree day in Launceston warm air in the north converged with cool south easterly breezes and bang ... rain! 22 mm so far at Mt Barrow and 5 mm in Launceston.

Eek. Would rather today’s weather ;)

Another mild one ahead. Had a bit of hill fog this morning and about 0.1mm of mizzle.

Looks very wet too our north the week head. Looks ok for the middle of Vic and very wet for the east from about Wednesday onwards. Melbourne looks ok, but is in a strong gradient regions so one of those events that could drop 5mm or 50mm :?

Glorious weekend in the Nongs. Bit chilly on Saturday but “perfect” sunburn weather yesterday :? Thankfully only slightly scorched.

Another nice day today then showers and storms, mainly the western third of Vic tomorrow. Might get storms edge into Melbourne metro later.

Heavy falls likely Wednesday and Thursday. Bit of a split in progs where falls will be heaviest ranging from the northwest, central and east.

Heavy falls in NSW and Queensland. Some spots had their wettest month on record already. Reports of lots of crop damage :?

Thanks for the reminder - how soon I forget. Weather being a bit too cool is definitely the preferred option!

Showers and storms today. Mainly west and central. Bit of a mixed bag across the models so probably a bit hit and miss.

Huge falls coming up next five days for the east. Potentially we’ll over 100mm. Not much in the west. Many of us live in the gradient so who knows what to expect :?:
