Nothing here but a few spots of rain as that current line of storms moving through Melbourne developed just to our east. Very humid though - 75% and 20.5c. Reached a max here today of 22.8c. Looks like some decent action heading across the eastern suburbs.

Pity I wasn't driving down to the island through the south eastern suburbs right now.

It has been raining cats and dogs here in Box Hill for over 20 minutes. Absolutely beautiful!
Turns out those Lifted Index numbers from the Skew-T were worth paying attention to.

Yes please, send through pics. Need something to put me out of my fizzer misery.
Meanwhile out I go to manually water the garden.

Those lucky SOBs… I’ve got a good view of the edge. Just constant, ominous rumbles and dark, saturated looking clouds…

That western edge is still developing, right over me it seems.
Thunder and lightning almost simultaneously now, indicating it's right above.
EDIT》》》 BIG raindrops now

I'm on the edge of this. Anything to the north east and east is getting smashed, but there are no official bom weather stations to record it

All fine here thanks.
The street was just a sheet of rushing water at the height of the deluge, 36mm on the Davis consol, will check manual gauges when it stops which it just about has.
