Just on 7mm for the day. Month on a healthy 130mm. Maybe a mm or two to come early in the work week then into a boring period of weather. Nice warm Easter.

Had a good view over the bay today and some of the coldies were impressive, but sparse and all passing to the south. The cracker went over Frankston looked severe at one point.

Easter is looking basically fine down here, though the MJO will be active across the north of the country (hopefully giving us some weather afterwards). New thread time?

Hobart forecast Easter Saturday now 29c only 2 short of the 2014 record..
Just looking at the climate outlook for April to June in Tasmania dryer and hotter than average. Not the news I wanted. Goodbye another decent winter me thinks.

A break to get some washing dry would be appreciated.
@5am it would have been close.. I saw the ground was dry..

I’m sure I’m hearing heavy dripping now...

Drizzle and fog up here. Was briefly heavy around 6am. Just shy of 3mm in the gauge.

That could well be it for ten days plus. Chance of the odd light shower or drizzle patch around Sunday and Tuesday in a week with very weak changes. Otherwise, unusually warm weather for autumn will be the story for a few days.

1.4mm here in the early hours this morning. Looks like a long dry stretch ahead now - nothing much of significance showing up in the models.

We’ll finish up the month with 77.6mm. Not a bad result for what is often a fickle month when it comes to rainfall. Just hope the second half of April delivers something decent!

On track for a fairly cold night. Currently 9.7c and gradually falling, with clear skies and no wind. Had a max of 16.5c today.

We'll finish on 71mm, so a well above average result.192.5mm ytd is also well ahead of average. Greening up fast and the mower is busy!

Could we have a new Easter warmth weather and thread ? Early days for April weather in Hobart but even the record month warmest of 2016 didn’t have any days near the temps we are facing in the first 5 days.

Min of 7.9C here today and max of 15.1C. Finishes of a cool and wet month for us with 130mm. YTD is just shy of 400mm which is racking a fair bit above average :D

Lots of warm days ahead. New thread.
