14mm in the gauge. Wind is just feral. Shocking. House shaking stuff. We are sheltered in northwest winds but the trees are still roaring. The low is slipping south so winds should start easing, but still a couple of shocking hours ahead. Haven’t spotted any record gusts yet, but not a long. So far no trees down here. Few small branches. Hoping with all fingers crossed I’d don’t have chainsawing a repairs after this
Looking at the radar the low is just east of King Island and like a TC with a tight spiral core on the radar
Can’t imagine what the sea must be like near the surf coast and Bay Heads atm
Gust will be around 150km/hr over the water atm.
