There were snow flurries up around the top of the mountain at 3.30pm, nothing below 950m though.
Has been raining here for a good while at 2C, not cold enough for snow.

4.3C to 5.7C here today with frequent showers, fog and 5mm of rain. Tis a bit too southerly for us, so not ideal. Nice wintery day.

Should get a few more mms tomorrow with another chilly day. MTD about 85mm, so still 20mm to the average. Turning into a painfully slow crawl towards average :x . Would like a few thumping showers please ;)

Woke me up a couple of times :D 5mm more overnight. Makes about 25mm for the thread. Showers going to stick with us until well into tomorrow, so a bit more to come. Can I order 15mm more please :P

Going to be a wintery day, and nice and frosty inland :D

Spring hits next week. Tis one week early, as I’m on leave first week of July. Looks like good winter beach weather with high teens widespread and maybe even some 20s :? Not good for those planning a ski trip.

Another good frost here this morning.

Warming up next week, although good to see EC suggesting heavy rain with a cold front around June 29-30. We need every bit of it, since signs are appearing in the Indian Ocean of a strong +ve IOD developing.

Spring hits next week???? Come oonnn.... you're sounding like The Age newspaper now lol. Plus, since it'll only be 2 weeks since the start of winter (20 June solstice), i would say autumn is lingering instead of spring is here.

A 17 degree day in July is hardly spring, plus being the time of year that it is, and with forecast minimums near zero, 17 is touch and go, especially with any lingering fog or low level cloud.

Nothing unusual

Chilly one again here with a few showers, though again a bit southerly for us so pick up the edges rather than the cores of showers. 2mm more. Max of just 7.3C. Fire wood pile is going fast (lucky those gums constantly drop limbs :D ).

MTD just shy of 90mm now. Creeping towards that average. Still another 24 hours of showers, but slowly clearing. Still the odd heavy one, so fingers crossed we can crack the ton (though me think wishful thinking).

Don’t know whether it’s more a return of autumn or the start to spring. Despite the chill this week, it’s been a pretty mild winter so far. It looks to me like 7-10 day mild spell coming up which will feel pretty spring like once we get through the icy Monday morning :D with an IOD and and near El Niño lining up spring will probably hit early this year.

3mm here yesterday and a further 4mm today. MTD is just over 95mm. Not especially wet this week, but it has been nice having regular rain for several days in a row. We’ve also had 4 days in a row of maximum temps below 10c, with the last 3 days maxing out between 7c and 9c. That of course changes after this weekend, although some cold nights still ahead!

About to clock up our 27th wet day in 29 days here :D Quite amazing, but most days have only seen dribbles. Perhaps we’ve had a spell like this before, but I’m struggling to recall it off the top of my head. MTD about 95mm now, give or take.

3mm overnight. Steady stream of showers to our near west which occasionally bulges over us. Few more showers to come.

Another chilly morning inland, though most numbers up a degree or two on previous nights.

-1c this morning. Coldest so far for the year.

EC still reckons 20mm+ for the last weekend of June here. Would be very nice for crops.

Yeah, be nice to sneak in one more fall before July. Going to be another good tropical feed, so just need a bit of kick in the Synoptics.

We are still to get a frost here. Al the days for about six weeks have been damp. Even when it hasn’t rained it’s tended to be foggy or lots of dew.

It clouded over today and we barely struggled over 10c. It's now cleared and already 3c at 7pm. Brrrrrr...

GFS very bullish for heavy rain on the coming weekend. EC less so now.

Rode up to Mt Donna Buang from Don Valley today - some rain showers on the drive out to the valley but then mostly cloudy/foggy through Panton Gap with the odd patch of sun breaking through to warm us up.

Snow patches from around 1100m with enough up on the summit at 1250m for the toboggans.

Back at home, 2-3mm of rain pretty much every day this week. Soggy.

11.30am and the fog is still thick and extensive here as the eye can see. Only 5.8 degrees too. Looks like the whole metro area is blanketed
