Gordon - Unbelievable divergence for us between 18Z GFS, and 18Z ACCESS and EC so close to D-Day(s). The former gives us about 10mm, the others 50-70mm :o . Btw I tried unsuccessfully to extended the date range out to Friday, as there doesn't appear to be any obvious break in the wet weather potent...

We had some rain in Ferny Creek at 1pm. Nothing that would register but it wet all the ground for a couple of minutes

When I first came to Ferny Creek in May 1986 it snowed on 30th July. The snow was on the ground for 3 days. It was amazing. We thought all winters would be like that.

Thanks hillybilly. I leave for Mt Buffalo tomorrow then continue on up to Mt Hotham on Friday. Going to be very soggy and snow at Mt Hotham on Saturday
