3 rumbles of thunder over towards belgrave but now stopped, wonderful clouds though!

Some very majestic tall clouds out there today but all seeming to form too much to my south - have not heard any thunder for a long time here. See what today brings, so far it hasnt really been playoung out like the models thought so its a matter of just watching to see where they form it seems... f...

very annoying its following the same trajectory as previous days, just slipping past us and to the south...although we did get a short shower last night and one crack of thunder

so weird, lighting within 6km of me yet i really have not heard anything, its probably up so high in the atmosphere the sound never gets here.

looked great earlier but has all died again, no rain but so humid and sticky

had some distant deep rumbles last night but nothing else. Today looks like its slipping too much south and its getting late, forecast now says less likely this evening although the models said it was ripe for this area now until dusk, so who knows? watch and see i guess!

I also point out the forecast for here last night/evening ws updates to say thunderstorms potentially severe for this area, which vanished this morning...after which most people had prepared for that...does not instill faith in taking notice of forecasts.

Very big storm, flooding rain, whiteout at one point and small hail.

Very bomb like thunder at times and very crisp bolts from the blue, especially after the main storm passed.

Lightning struck somewhere very close, people were still running around on the nearby oval and seemingly didn't care?

No, thats what i have been telling everyone, and pointing out how much we rely on forecasts that rarely are correct, nevertheless people still want to believe in it and apparently I am supposed to, which is why i question it all the time, which doesnt always go down well

I think rather than a chance of a thunderstorm the forecast should be "no chance of a thunderstorm".

the amount of "chances" there has been for weeks, you think one would eventually deliver..well something.

hot..dry and humid...so its out to water the garden again!

So many days of warmth and humidity but all the storms to the east, last night one ventured closer and made for a nice view on sunset, only saw one bolt of lightning.

Well i gave up and went out and watered the garden which was very dry despite the short downpour last night. Def seem to miss out on the storms here, so many to the north and central just how i remember it when i lived up that way long ago seem to be under all the anvil and muck here, friend is stil...
