Parts of NE Vic doing ok so far with a few 10-20-mm falls already. Dry as in Melb

Hope you’re right there snowfall. Was surprised by ongoing storms last night from around 11 and then right through on an off until 4. These delivered just under 10 mm. This part of the NE is still pretty green but grass fires still a large risk.

Just shy of 30mm here since 9:30 so heavy but can't see where the 100mm + falls would be occurring given the front/rainband is moving quite quickly east with nothing much behind it looking at the satellite

Yeah same up here. Just started again in Mansfield and quite heavy now. Expecting 30-50mm today depending on storm development.

Relentless rain in these parts. Passing through 90mm since this all started mid-morning yesterday. MTD already 140mm.
Was woken by loud thunder around 4am and torrential downpours with RR peaking at 158 mm/hr. It was disturbing to say the least

25mm and pouring since 11. Ground was still wet from the 50mm we received 5 days ago.

Crazy rain and solid storms here. 50 mm since 6pm.

We're approaching 90mm event total to date

Friends in Wedderburn have recorded 120mm. Flooding has occurred. Footy ground/ track fully underwater presently

Just shy of 45 mm for us in Mansfield with constant falls overnight which is twice what I was expecting based on model guidance. Looking like significant bands of storms moving down from central NSW into Vic NE and central. Interesting day ahead for many of us.

Yeah good call there. The grey gloom has been reminiscent of June/July days but without the cold temps. Didn't see sun once on the weekend

Was surprised those storms on radar last night made it to Melbourne this morning. 20mm here from mod/heavy rain lasting less than an hour. That's 35 mm for the weekend.

Surprised that the media aren’t really talking about this system. Strikes me as potentially very nasty for the worst affected regions. Suspect they're struggling with the mental gear shift from the El Nino heat/drought/fire thing, to this. Steady rain set in here and may have to light the fire agai...

Really interesting week coming up for E/SE Australia with some models showing massive rainfall totals in some spots. About 15mm in Elwood since start of the thread and 30 in Mansfield.
