Talk about dry - over last three months this end of Vic has been lacking decent rain, eg Totals SALE/55MM, BAIRNSDALE 62MM & ORBOST 42MM. Surprisingly, as I speak it's pelting down on the tin roof and sounds great, 1MM for to 0900 and be lucky to get 5MM today. Glad I don't have livestock these days ...

About 40km N of Sale, Mt Moornapa has had 25mm+ in about an hour from a thundery cell, water would be rolling down the hillsides madly from that.
In the mean time no wind and clear sky in Sale, next Sunday though....10 - 20mm @ 95% from BOM.

Looks to me like it's lining Sale up for a direct hit now!
But it didn't LOL, a glancing blow as the bulk veered S/E to the right and exited over the 90 Mile Beach, and some also went to to the N/E and we missed out, East Sale BOM 0.4mm today and home about 3mm.
