Looking at ACCESS and GFS it seems we are certainly going to cop it down here in Tassie, the low will stay still over us for an extended period of time.

Hi everyone both the ACCESS and GFS models are suggesting significant rain from Wednesday onwards in Tasmania. These east Coast low set ups can often give us magnificent floods thundering through Launceston's Cataract Gorge.

I am wondering what is contributing to the complexity of the systems in the coming week. Models seemed to change markedly on each run and seem to be quite different to each other. Why the uncertainty?

It seems to me that after Easter Monday there will be an extended dry period with High pressure dominating. Do the experts on AWF agree?
