Re: Vic - Surface trough & Cut off low 19-25/3/11

Hi Sharon, I'm no weather expert at all but I know that can happen. I've heard Karl talk about how it's been pelting down at his place and just up the road zilch. When I was in Barcelona I remember this rain pouring down about 100 metres from where we were standing at the bus stop and we were perfe...

Re: Vic - Surface trough & Cut off low 19-25/3/11

I dont have a rain guage, so no figures, but about 4am or so, it absolutely pelted down here in Gembrook. It lasted for about ...

Re: Victoria - Tropical rain event - February 2nd-8th 2010

I think tomorrow could see more of the same, but becoming less frequent? I woke up to very heavy rain at about 7.30 this mor...

Re: Victoria: Low Pressure System Cup Weekend 2010

Of course we're going to have torrential rain...I'm going camping :( Just tell me I'm not going to get a repeat of the New Years Day storm I had at lake at lake eildon. Sharon, a good chance of storms on Friday (north of the divide in particular). This will be more of a rain event than the NYE/NYD ...
