I had Yum Cha in Springvale at high noon and I needed a Jet Ski to get from North Melbourne to Springvale. The water was ankle high in the side streets near Springvale Rd. By 2pm, it had subsided. All I have seen today is a wall of water. No lightning. There have been several really wet days recently?

Why do the good one happen when I'm asleep or nodding off. I was too tired to get up, so I sat there and listened. Two in the space of a week that has been at the wrong time but at least someone enjoyed them.

Just had a couple stray bits of thunder. That was a bonus.

It took 18 months for us to get one like that, I'm hoping we can back up quicker this time and get another one like that before Australia Day.

That was great, the build up was fantastic.

The lightning was biblical.

The only thing missing was frequency of lightning.

It does look like a force field if you look at the Victorian wide radar. There is one line pushing south and one line pushing east it does look like it will miss the central. I'm hoping both will merge like Sydney had yesterday if we are lucky.
