Latest GFS ridiculous for SA. Precipitable water values about 50mm for 5 days in a row

Latest GFS has PW values around 60mm in SA and 45mm in Vic at the end of the run. A repeat of what we just had. EC has nothing at the moment

What an amazing day. To even think about those rainfall rates of 400mm/ph is unbelievable. Some of the dew points were unbelievable as well. We are probably lucky there wasn't a bigger trigger or the storms would have been destructive

Yeah the airmass hasn't changed much. Just knocked a few degrees off due to the rain. Dew points still above 20 and it feels like Byron bay, not Melbourne

If models are right some places will crack 100mm quite easily, as the trough is predicted to be west at 10am tomorrow

Viewbank had about 55mm in 25minutes, Scoresby 30mm in 30 min, Mount Waverley similar to Scoresby...nuts. 32mm in 10mm for HB is even more nuts
