wow this beast is just rolling into Aireys inlet now plenty of lightning behind lorne nice shelf cloud developing and plenty of nasty looking clouds and now here comes the rain!! constant thunder now too!

Well its been awhile but a day like today has got me super excited sky has just started to go crazy in the last 20min towers are going up in this clear sky

Got a good soaking last night 45.2mm there was no wind and it just sat over us!

wow make that 111km/hr the last 30min the wind has really intesified average wind speed is 70km/hr

just had a 100km/hr wind gust havent had wind like this for a long time here!

good drop of rain overnight 29.4mm nothing today the only thing to note is the wind its howling just had a 95km/he gust

Just at work but there is massive towers just north of me they ate getting going for sure have heard some rumbles already

day off today so had a nice surf and was just sitting out there watching the sky explode very quickly saw a very nice anvial from a cell down near cape otway interesting arvo ahead im thinking

Just a quick one still no Internet running low on the iPhone now 60mm overnight some minor flooding around town with a few roads blocked and one house with water but concil did the Job breaking through river yesterday as would have been alot worse still rainning over 150mm for the event

45mm today still bucketing wind really increasing too! Council were party poppers this arvo when they dig the river throught to the ocean so shall not see any major flooding but the great ocean road is a mess with new landslides this evening Lorne thru apollo bay!

Yes it's still rainning hasn't stopped were almost at 48hrs of constant rain 9,28.2 and 46mm since the event started we have added another 6.4mm this morning sitting of 89.6mm event total the local river is on the rise!
