Re: 11th June onwards - Cut off low

It appears flash flooding will be a certainty in the western suburbs at least. Ridiculous amounts of rain falling in Hoppers/point Cook and Werribee at the moment. :o

Re: Unsettled Weather - Showers and storms. Sep 16th - Sep 2

If you could make the rain hold off from 2:30 - 5:30 on Sunday that would be great. By the sounds of things thats when it...

Havent posted for a while but have been in Preston/ heidelberg area for the last 90 mins and has been absolutely pouring down here. Heaviest rain ive seen for some time..............but then again i do live in the western suburbs. Would not be surprised if there was upwards of 25mm out here.

Re: Burst of winter 23rd - 27th May

Ok, seems to be a slight clearance in the western suburbs at the moment. Does this mean we will see the wind pick up and then the rain develop again later this afternoon earlier this evening? That is what i gather from what most of you have said.

Re: Burst of winter 23rd - 27th May

A guy just rang in to 3aw and said he had 96mm in Wantirna. I strongly doubt that but arent you out that way Karl. I expect to see that sort of number by the END of the system though. Western subs really copped it so far (for once).

Be safe folks! :P

Re: High Temperatures, High Humidity and Storms 26 Feb - Mar

Hi all. I havent posted for a while. Just spoke to colleague in SA who is driving from Adelaide to Port Lincoln today. She tells me there is water everywhere and there are some serious flooding issues. Having a look at the radar in adelaide i would suggest melbourne may not escape this rainband. Go ...
