Thanks Lily. Shell, I spoked to a lady in Christchurch today and she said that quake caused more damage

Well we arrived in Queenstown an hour ago after getting up at 4am. What a day, over 14 hours of travel to get here. We were lucky to get to Queenstown as we ran into a lot of turbulence in the small plane from Christchurch to Queenstown and the pilot said if it got worse we would have to turn back to Christchurch.
Anyway we made it so now at a hotel in Queenstown until tomorrow morning when we can pick up our hire car and go to Wanaka where we are staying, only three days late. Guess what! It's absolutely pouring down here. Better check out the weather forecast for the rest of the week lol

Looks a lot blacker to the west today than the radar is showing.
Had couple go past this morning that I have noticed to be extra dark.

Yes looks like Friday will be the best day of the Easter break and then the weather turns cold. I'd say Jake will be putting his forecast up in the next couple of days

Took a trip to Donna Buang today. Very Dissapointing the 3cm of snow that was noted on the web site.
Few kids out giving it a go, sliding down wet slippery grass for a bit of fun.
Yarra at Launching place just about busted banks, same as Warburton some good rapids flowing there.
Yarra River is full and overflowing.
