Warmer temps with a northerly flow assisting convection on and off this week finishing with significant rain totals for statewide state next Sunday, but with a NE focus.
Nice cell developed northern side city last 30 minutes is apparently dumping. Hardly any steering with the cells in the light wind conditions.

About 40km N of Sale, Mt Moornapa has had 25mm+ in about an hour from a thundery cell, water would be rolling down the hillsides madly from that.
In the mean time no wind and clear sky in Sale, next Sunday though....10 - 20mm @ 95% from BOM.

Yep Samboz, cells brewed up over all high areas around here this morning, but died due to blocked upper exhaust pipe. Round 2 tried again later this arvo, heard the odd distant rumble, but a fresh seabreeze arrived and killed it all off around here.

Scored 6mm this afternoon from an isolated cell. Less than a km up the road - nothing.

Barley a drop bayside Elwood but tennis is washout in Parkville this evening. That south eastern suburb beast was looking great from the beach at it's peak around 7.

Great pic Blackee. Got 12mm here in Mount Evelyn from a quick dump. Looking at the socials there was a decent bit of flooding from that big cell, certainly was plenty of thunder.

Nothing here today. All to our South.
Most forecast models going for 40mm+ over the next week...

Bacchus Marsh is awash!!! A thunderstorm just sat over us for hours… the highest fall was 88mm about 1 km NW of town.
55mm in my gauge.
