Another bitter, sunless day here yesterday - felt more like July than September. Today doesn't look much warmer, with the current temp 7C.
Looks like we'll have to wait until October for our first 20C day of spring.
Day temps are running near or a touch above average so pretty typical for September. Mainly swly weather, though, which makes it feel cooler.
Sadly, another really dry month for most of OZ and the dry is edging into Vic. We’ve been lucky so far, but Progs not really holding a lot of rain. Struggling to find the next thread

We should get one more chance to top up September’s total with a front tomorrow. It’s quite strong, but slipping mainly through Bass Strait. Could be locally 10mm in the upper Yarra and South Gippsland but thinking not much for most of us.
