Some interesting temp gradients coming up tonight. 18Z GFS has us going from 18c at 4am, 11c at 10am, and 7c at 4pm. That's going to confuse the Daily Min/Max for tomorrow!
Certainly a very impressive system (temperature wise) for Mid-September coming up, that's for sure.
Going to be a pretty wild 24 hours looking at the progs. Gales, a sharp change, showers then a deep freeze. Should see some snow showers in the Dandenongs.
Unpleasant fire weather conditions to the north
I'm flying to Sydney around noon and anticipating quite a "flight" as we cross a ~20C temperature gradient.

Hope you get some cloud pics if by a window - should be impressive!
Radar looks pretty underwhelming this morning. Was hoping to see a strong band of showers
Going to get cold, but showers look pretty sparse away from the coastal strip and ranges. Should see 5-10mm here, though really need more like 25mm to get September back on track...
Week ahead kind continues the pattern of windy spells, but fronts which are moisture starved and quickly anticyclonic.
Change through, temperature dropped quickly, currently 9.3°C and still falling?, Max today will be 18.8°C @ 3:44 AM. Only a spattering of rain thus far.
