Did you notice August?

For the first time in 10 years, the September gales did not arrive in August. It was a very calm month wind wise around me and I suspect for most of victoria.

September gales may be back, they are known to all farmers and fishos but most city dwellers dont remember the wind year to year.

I think you're right Mick, apart from one or two very windy days I do remember most of August was quite a gentle month, with some really nice weather on quite a few occasions. Blowing a hooley up here today though!

We had no rain for August......it is usually our wettest month......we are in a bit of trouble out here....but it never rains in spring anymore out here.....we should be used to it by now
