I went out west on Saturday initially targetting Mt Cottrell in Melbourne's outer west but changed course northward before I got there to intercept a beautifully structured storm (that displayed supercellular behaviour for just long enough for me to call it a supercell) near Carlsrue that I was rapt to see and followed it south, but this was just entree to the gorgeous right moving surface based supercell that I intercepted back in my original target near MtCottrell. The rapid motion in the wall cloud and associated inflow tail is impressive - no need for sped up timelapse here! It tracked from Eyensbury through Werribee and it was an awesome, satisfying chase and close to home. Pics and timelapse are special! I'll post a few when I can.
