Very nice! First one reminds of that epic shelf you photographed last year!

How do you guys managed to get time of work to chase so often? lol

We manage our time in advance so we can chase, we take leave from work if needed. Luckily each of us have somewhat flexible work arrangements which helps. The lighting this day was very similar to the Mittiamo shelfie thats for sure.

Excellent shots of the storm Hamlan - they look amazing! Did you observe any rotation on this storm while you guys were out?

Here's a pano I managed to get on the 9th of the second cell that moved into the city. Unfortunately I didn't get that great of a view as I was quite far away but hoperfully you guys will like the pano...

Nice shot cam. These storms are so photogenic, no wonder they are so addictive to people :)

Thanks Rivergirl and Pete :D

Really wish I had of been closer to it though to see the structure! I was amazed when I saw evidence of a shelf like structure at the base of the storm. This was a supercell wasn't it? There were quite a few reports of rotation from underneath the storm?

Also, on a side note, does anyone know what causes the bright light to shine above a shelf cloud? Is it due to refraction of sunlight from above the storm?

Cheers, Cam
