How goes the infinity issue? Re: our convo at WZ? I can tell you again from personal experience that lens is a pain in the backside when chasing...or atleast I found it to be!
Stay well, looking forward to those storm pics!
Thanks Thunder. Yeah, I gave up on trying to focus to infinity at night. Too hard, and as you mentioned on WZ, I don't always have a distant light source. I use my Canon Powershot SX130IS for lightning shots. For $200, it's a very good camera and I totally recommend it to any beginner. http://www.dpreview.com/news/2010/8/19/ ... hotsx130is" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Anyway yeah, I'm saving up for a better lens at the moment
Photograph of Emu Point beach at sunset a few backs. Multiple exposure blended into one photograph. I added another layer and then adjusted the colour balance. So happy with the final outcome.
Went for something a bit different this time, decided to shoot two photos and then I merged the exposures and desaturated the photo. Hope you guys like it
For those who didn't see it on facebook... the waterfall near Dog Rock in Albany.

Those pics are fabulous. Love the softness of the water with the long exposure. Yep you could try to start selling them tho it's not that easy to do. Are you on http://www.redbubble.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;? I've sold a bit of work on there
