Brother mentioned small hail last night in the one that went via Wesburn.
His comment was Wowza.. if thats enough of an explanation.
Wish those Rumbles now were closer..

Another cell rapidly approaching, hearing rumbles from that now.
No rain from that previous cell, all went south of me.

Lots of rumbles here to the south. Waiting to see if something fires on the top end of the wind change.

A warm 22C ATM.

Crazy isn't it Shell? Our tank was pretty well full all summer and now in mid-March we're thinking about having to buy in water.
Fingers crossed we can fluke a storm today.

Just noticed on the satellite loop that the wrap around from the secondary low up near Adelaide is heading down towards Central Vic and expanding as it comes. Lots of storms embedded too. Keeping an eye on this.....

oops posted in the other thread not realising the date, and a new one had been started!

i cant see storms for melb..or much else today, the stormacst pretty much has it spot on where they are forming.

Been very dissapointing for this area, storms few and far in between this season.

Hot humid one here with about twenty rumbles but only 0.6mm of rain. MTD is now 3mm (average is 95mm).

Looking at the satellite and radar you can just see how unlucky we are. If that upper low was tracking a few hundred kms further south we'd be getting heaps

Might still pick up the odd shower Monday and possibly even Tuesday, but overall just more warm autumn sun :?
