Yes like Lily said nothing has been changed here for months so don't know why there is a problem.

... and now the problem has gone away... posted normally.

I have no idea (but happy not to have to change weather forums!).

Glad it's working again for you Petros. Would hate to have you change weather forums :) Who knows what mystical things happen in the IT universe.

Petros, I was working in the control panel last night for about 4 hours trying to get the new rainfall map up on the site and IE kept crashing on me but it would recover the tab. It was so frustrating. Today I am back on Maxthon and haven't had a crash yet. I think you should think about another type of browser. I do not know what can be done about IE except for tips given on here.

This will crash me out again, thanks RG. Rebooted before, made one post here with no other internet site openend and got the same "not responding" straight after (for the 1st time) so things getting worse for IE, AWF and me. I suspect its got something to do with links to twitter, facebook etc and my non-participation in them. Anyhow its my own problem but I refuse to /download/learn another internet product when the most used in the world suddenly becomes no good to access AWF only, all other websites no problem at all! :x

Petros, if you don't want to change browser, maybe try a different version of IE then. Have you got the latest release, IE V. 9?

I used to run IE some years ago and finally got convinced to change over (like you I was resistant to change), but I can honestly say the difference between IE and Google Chrome is negligible and you soon get used to it. Chrome is far superior, I have had few issues compared to what I used to have with IE.
