Yeah the cell near Sunbury has gone black.
Looks like a line is trying to form from those two cells coming down from the North.
Bring on round 2!

Pity it wont make it across the bay, would be a great view. There were quite a few boats on the bay an hour ago, thinking the worse had gone. One boat being towed in from the south by VCG to Patto River, hope those still out there head in. Its like a mill pond atm, but can change so quickly, low tide has just passed from memory.

Will not be good news for some of the orchards in the area, the cherry crop for one is being badly affected, good friend and daughter are in the area again this year for the harvest, the poor crop because of the weather has cost both of them in excess of $1000 so far

I had no idea there are people in this area growing Cherries. It so sad to hear that people putting in so much time and money to crops are losing them from this magnificent rain fall.

Those two cells near Mangalore and Alexandra are merging. If it strengthens, we could get smashed here! Very calm here, nice and warm the birds are singing, not a breath of wind. Starting to see some dark clouds to the north but not a good view.

25mm in Point Cook today- my wife says that was all in about 1/2 an hour- so not bad at all for out here. Looks like we might cop a bit with this melton cell but it appears to be weakening. Fingers crossed it can make it this far!
