Up to 32mm here, and very cold, grey and drizzly 7C. Could do with a bit of that sunshine snowfall if you can spare any .
Unfortunately it didn't last very long! Currently drizzling...
Bit of a non event in southern Tasmania as expected. Couple of showers, and frost both Sunday and Monday morning but that was it. Could enough for low level snow, but very few showers. Eyeballing looked like flurries to about 600m around here. Some nasty cold temps in the inland valleys with -3 to -5C pretty widespread to near sea level. Not records, but pretty notable for the first part of May.

Great read, and proves mother nature has a stronger influence on weather than ever human ever will.
The record heat and record drought leading into black summer was influenced by humans. These studies use the same data and models which show us humans role in global warming.
Picked up 2mm more this week. Cool nights but pretty average days. Nice sunshine at time, by dry is creeping down here which isn’t a good thing. Area north of Hobart is not far off it’s dry start to a year on record.
Perhaps a thread for next weeks with another high south of WA leaving us with cool weather with the odd shower, heavier near the coast and western Tas. Progs are looking El Niño like now.
Sure hope we are not going to have a cold season of continual blocking Highs .
Takes the fun out of big cold fronts and keeps them way south even in Tassie
I can’t wait for the next front I’m bored of the sunny days already

Does look and feel like it. The El Niño indices are about to shift rapidly into an event. Nino 3.4 warming quickly and strong westerly wind anomalies coming this week.
