Looks like a couple had updated but most hadn’t, looks like it is all fixed now. Forecast rain for here has increased for tomorrow and more for next weekend too. Waiting for the lawn to dry out a bit longer.
I havent been on this board for a long time, but it seems like the same old things are happening, fizzers!, lost count of the times severe storms / storms of any kind forecast for here and so far nothing.
Whats wrong with the forecasts these days?
Are these "severe storms" (with tornados) going to eventuate still? or too late now the sun is going down?

Today was never going to happen in my opinion. You can look at models all you want, but sometimes real time observations are the way to go. It was game over the moment mid level cloud moved in this morning and the wind picked up.
There is still the chance but any development so far has been fast moving, impulsive and short lived.
Expecting a lot more when air flow goes Southwesterly this week
Cold rainy one down here under thick cloud. Looks like a very wet three days ahead. Could see heavy snowfalls on Tuesday with a polar low hitting the Tasman sea. EC has heavy sleet to near sea level with 50cm at 500m. Not sure I quite believe that, but is a pretty extreme set up.
Melbourne’s storm’s killed by mid and high cloud. Should still see something in an hour or two on the trough.
Happy not to have the storms as I was expecting today,
Some of the reports from recent events seem extreme.
Well yes, but as happens every year i put all the plants undercover, the models had severe storms from 4am this morning, but of course nothing happens.
I actually went out and put them all back this evening and had to water them grrr
34mm in Sale for the last few days, 1mm since 0900 yesterday(Sun 13/10) despite the BUM forecast of
HEAVY rain all day.
Hearing FIZZER being mentioned, be pretty right about the forecast.
A further 15mm here since last night, bringing the MTD to 50mm.
Had one huge thunder clap in the evening from a nearby lightning strike, but otherwise most of the lightning activity was more distant. A nice evening show though. A few coldish days coming up...
