30mm here today, which takes us to 92mm for the event and 160mm for the month. Great storms today. I have actually lost count of how many storms we have had this month! If only this were standard January weather

Complete miss in southern Tasmania. Been like that for a few weeks. Everything developed to the north and east. Our turn will come. Maybe some drizzle tonight

Been a mild humid month so still quite green despite being fairly dry (just 50mm here). Has been a very wet months in spots to my north but really patchy with storms.

Picked up a further 10mm here in another storm in the late evening followed by drizzle overnight and this morning. All seems to have cleared now and currently 17.5c, which suddenly feels cold after the long stretch of heat!

Could not have said it BETTER just the BEST summer with the last 10 days pure bliss, amazing, its chilly today lol

Finished with 41.5mm to 9am, and 43.5mm for the event. 190.5mm mtd. Would be nice to crack 200mm (we've only ever done that once, with 202.5mm in May 2019) but not likely.

Oh well, a great system and a great day yesterday, with most getting a useful total.

First decent storm arrived in Maffra late arvo yest, followed by another an hour later that morphed into 4 hours of persistent light rain. Rain arrived again 7am and gave us 2 more hours of decent rainfall. I just poured out a total of 48mm. Wonderfull.

....and misty easterly drizzle looks set to provide a mm or two more this evening.

Brilliant reading everyone's totals. Finished with 55mm for the thread and close to 100mm for the MTD! Not a bad January at all.

Interesting to watch lovely pulse storms last hour between Benalla and Whitfield. Stunning clear air viewing from here to our NE with crawlers and plenty of cg's on offer.

A big miss for us here on Friday in the end, the storms, which looked impressive on approach, split and faded around us.

Managed to scrape out 8.5mm from left over light rain Friday night and again early Saturday morning. 23mm since Wednesday night.

Mostly cloudy here all day yesterday and again this morning. We’ve had some pretty strong easterlies develop overnight, but has stayed dry. The humidity continues.

Through the fog and strato cu burn off there is some very unstable sky around.

Another 0.5mm of fog and mizzle emptied this morning.

Might be some sneaky dumpy showers around ranges north central and eastwards as day goes on.
