Best development has been out west and out east and I'm stuck right in the middle... how damn annoying

Insane up here. Been raining at 100+ mm/hr for about 20 minutes. Near 30mm. Flash flooding everywhere - and we live at the very top of the hill. Been running around unblocking drains as strobe lightning bounces around the tree tops :o Rushing through the garage door :o

Radar looks dangerous - could be another hour or more of this through the middle to outer eastern burbs.

Similar here. More a passing rainband than a storm front now. Thunder seems to have abated

10mm now. Not very excited but happy to get rain. Surely it won't let the humidity go to waste

Very impressive build up here, but Lancefield has largely missed out on the big stuff.

More storms to the west?

Epic indeed! We've had some pretty wild storms in the 8 years I've been here but nothing like this before. Thunder is still rumbling and crashing away out there but it looks to be settling down now. Nearly time to go for a drive and check out the damage around town me thinks.

Ticked over 20mm here, some heavy but thankfully nothing extraordinary.
BOM forecast for here tomorrow 4 - 15mm which if it turns out that way will see February 2020 above the monthly average.
