Movement is very slow indeed
If you get a direct hit the rain will really stack up

I wonder if the bay is in a killing mood today or will actually let these storms pass, perhaps even intensify?

Looks like Sheoaks is the big winner so far.
Up to 50mm's now - 47mm's of that in 33 minutes.
No more rain here since that storm although still a
bit of Thunder rumbling around, was 29c before the storm now 21/19.
BTW the airport got less than 1mm.

Whoa... Where did that come from? Development right over cranbourne, although 2km too far east for me, according to the radar. Going off now. Don't tell me I'm sandwiched in between the two systems. Hope it fills in.
Bay doing it's stupid thing and not letting moisture cross the shore. Wtf? Still dry in Mornington

Growing patchy and losing focus as it nears this side of the bay it seems.

Let's not lose hope just yet. The whole system has started shifting more north-south now, compared to more easterly a few minutes ago

Huge cracks of thunder up here. Just to our near north looks black to green
Really nasty look to it. Clouds are swirling as the winds go from sw in the low levels to northeast just above. AWS to my near northwest showing 20mm in only a few minutes.

Decent storm here. Not a patch on last week's monster but it appears to be backbuilding...
