Wish this wind would f off. Been going for 2 days now
Same here. I just returned from the island & the wind down there was shocking.
Sustained speed of 30 to 40km/h down here yesterday and today. My weather station recorded a gust of 58km/h with several between 50 and 58, however my hand held Kestrel managed to clock up 76.5km/h top of the hill.
3mm so far down here. A wet morning indeed. Different story past about Dandenong towards yhe CBD on my way there before. Looks like it hasn't rained much, and the observations back that
Just 3mls here, although our nearest BOM station recorded 4.3mls. This often happens here. Yes relieved the wind has eased off considerably.Twigs and branches a daily clean up. My kindling supply is adequate for the coming winter thank you.
4.5mm overnight at Mt Macedon. It has been dead calm for the last three days. None of the wind made it to my place.
Huge totals for the NSW rain event. Over 450mm at Dapto near Wollongong.
Over 500mm at Katoomba and just over 700mm at Robertson in the Southern Highlands. Crazy.
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m
Bit of a sprinkle around here about 6am gave me 0.4mm's, first recorded rain for one week.
Not really expecting much here this week but I hope East Gippsland get a good drop to finally
put those fires out.
Currently here its a cloudy 22/16
Ballarat Airport scored 0.0mm's overnight.
3mm here overnight and been trying to rain all day with serious humidity, but just not making it.
Astonishing event up north. Probably to three in the past fifty years on much of the coast. They really need that rain, though perhaps over four months rather than four days. This stuck easterly pattern looks like it could have another seven to ten days to run, and a possible TC onto the east coast
very boring weather here, just spits of rain and humid again. I'm out to water the garden soon!
I am wondering when Melbourne will see any sort of storm action, each time its been on the cards its gone around us or vanishes quickly from the forecasts.
Still yet to actually have a proper storm here this season, or a night time lighting event!, as said before these were the norm in the past, now very rare.
