The sky has turned red here from the dust, I can feel the dust getting into my eyes.

I was just about to ask whether it's just my eyes or is that an orange tinge in the West. Can see it from here

The temp has dropped quickly from a max of 29.4c today down to 16.0c, with a southerly wind. Very gusty today. Had a peak gust of 58km/h, which brought down a large tree that now needs to be removed. Thankfully it just missed the house but only by about half a metre...
A couple of brief showers just passed through, but not enough to register in the gauge. Judging by the radar, it looks like the first phase will be showers and then hopefully followed by a period of rain.

25C in FC today so a nice mild spike day. Big dust storm moving through atm, and a sharp temperature drop. Pressure is down to 994hPa. This feature is a prefrontal, with the trough in the westerlies pushing through tomorrow. Progs looking good for rain
Expecting about 40mm in FC and Walkerville. Might sneak up to 50 if we get lucky
Heating up next week so happy to get a decent fall

Don't worry about the cars, walking on the concrete is like walking in thin slush.

Must've missed the bulk of it down south Peninsula, haven't noticed anything.
Good steady rain now!

It's practically raining mud this way, but dust and silt from the Sahara forms part of the Amazon nutrient cycle, so I suppose it might do the garden well
Really starting to thicken up nicely now, and it's looking very impressive on the sat images. Precip values are quite good too, so provided it doesn't move through too fast, totals should tick up nicely.
