Some big booms of thunder here. Looks like a bit of rain may start soon judging from the radar.

As per above, not often you see a hook like this; and on the 128km too, not the 64km - saved for posterity.

Lancefield. Looks like it absolutely ripped through about 1-2km to my north. Unbelievable rotation with that cell.

Absolutely nothing here. Forcefield on.

GFS reckons 5mm all week. That'll be right.

Yep, wouldn't want to be in the path of that storm. It's split off the rest of the flow now and likely producing large hail and damaging winds plus the heavy rain.

The cell southwest of Gisborne is becoming interesting, meanwhile the thunderstorm near north of Colac would be dumping a fair amount of rain over farm areas down that way, it's quite slow moving. Interesting day or so ahead!

No mate, apologies. All I can say is Benloch about 1km to my north got absolutely smashed. We just missed it.

I’ve never seen a storm develop and rotate like that before. It was sucking in the air from all directions. Crazy stuff.

Got away with hail the size of 20c pieces. Wouldn’t be surprised if there is damage around the area though.

Some PWSs around Lancefield are showing 30 - 40mm, although quite a bit of variation across the area. 2mm here. Just caught the edge of that developing storm, but had some great window-shaking thunder.
