Rain picking up in FC as the squall line approaches. Approaching 3mm now.
Some significant radar issues with the band now parallel to the radar beam so "invisible" and also the intensity dropping the rain rates as the beam gets attenuated.
Some solid falls showing up with plenty of sites in southern Vic in the 10-25mm range. Just hope it keeps coming...
Rainfall to 9 am: Sheffield 19 mm, Launceston 9 mm, Mt Arthur 17 mm, Scottsdale 7.6 mm, Nunamara 20 mm, Hobart 0.6 mm, St Helens 2.6 mm, Grindelwald 19.6 mm
Tas is having a good run, which is good to see. Must admit that I struggle to think of a time when the difference in rain between northern Tasmania and southern Victoria has been so dramatic. Hopefully the remainder of autumn spreads it around
