. EC after being keen has halved totals on it's latest run and has little on the change, and most post front.
Just going back to what you mentioned earlier this morning HB, I reckon EC will be spot on. That's my feeling anyway, happy to be proven wrong as we are absolutely desperate for a decent drink.
Caroline Springs, Melbourne's meteorological boredom zone.
@WV Yup, barely much of a cool change but it will only be a few degrees cooler. It will make its way up the bay and hit the metro area in the next hour or so. It will still however, be very muggy and we won't feel the fresh cool air until tomorrow around late morning.
//EDIT
I would say it's a "pre" cool change, where the main change will come through tomorrow, to answer your question!
//2nd EDIT
Looks like a SWW has been issued for West and South Gippy and on the ranges for heavy rainfall. Am hoping for at least 10 mm for my neck of the woods (metro area)
No storm chart from me today, but radar confirming some rapid development of cells to the west of Melbourne around Ballarat and Ararat areas, and much closer to Geelong a cell appeared earlier. Should be an interesting afternoon before hopefully some nice rain tonight. It’s a very much watch the radar/satellite/obs kind of day.

Some impressive storms shooting up near here and to the NW; surprised there's no STW for heavy rain at least as some seem quite slow moving.
Edit: torrential rain here now and power is out.
Edit again: 4mm in 4 minutes.
