Feel like Melbourne is certain to get at least 15mm now and probably more!

It wasn't reserve phycology lol just prime atmosphere and good forecast

Widespread 30-50mm overnight and now that is moving into central vic and Melbourne
WET WET WET few hours ahead easy 30 to 50mm for Metro and much of central Vic with isol higher falls

Bendigo dumping down easy 40 to 60 for you as forecast much of west Melbourne also getting good 30-50mm as will much of city.

Look at the atmosphere clear air is good thing with approaching upper systems and rich tropical air mass constant back building really helping

Stuck at work all day wish was home enjoying this dumping

Several places in the western suburbs are over 20mm now. Up to 27mm locally at Laverton & Avalon.

Had 33.6mm's up to 9am here and a further 5.4mm's since so 39mm's for the event.
MTD now 86.4mm's - monthly average is 40mm's.
Ballarat Airport had 38mm's up to 9am and 7.4mm's since then, their MTD is now 105.6mm's.

Such is life trying to forecast Melbourne's weather.

As a point of interest 18mm so far in your old stomping ground of North Dandenong, on par with the Melbourne Water's Rowville AWS.

Light rain commenced here in Warragul about an hour ago and has increased to steady moderate rain. 2.5mm so far.

2300Z Melbourne sounding was a bust! The trace only goes up to 24000ft, but saturated atmosphere all the way. PW 45.2mm, TT 43, LI 4.3C
