Launceston reached 20.0 degrees today. Other warm temps were Friendly Beaches 22.6 and St Helens 22.2

Been murk and mist here the last day and a bit, but just 0.8mm in the gauge. Bit of a frustrating week, with lots of potential but all a miss. Crazy storms to our north. The Australian hail record is 14cm from Kempsey with plenty of hail stones on social media looking about that size from southeast Queensland :o

Guess we get our first warm thread looking at the progs. This big system has flushed the moisture off central and eastern Australia with near zero dewpoint making it all the way to the Top End and central Queensland so going to take a while to moisten back up again.Will allow Australia to heat up quickly.
