Looks ok for tomorrow morning, though quite a contrast between models. EC has 15mm with storms here tomorrow morning while GFS has less than a mm. Guess we will know which one wins this time tomorrow ;)

Well cut off low real fail for much of northern and NW Vic this weekend they really needed that, most only getting 5 to 10mm form the low much less than expected.
Amazing system for SA, NSW and parts of Qld some huge rainfalls and very welcome for many too lots of happy folk after this system
N Vic will get alot of wind and warm this week with little rain for the coming week.

South and Mount Vic going to have an active and wet week many of us should see 20 to 40mm by next Sunday with lots of showers, odd storm and gusty winds, with big system Thurs through Saturday back to winter for a few days to with hail, snow on alps etc

Gfs on the money it seems...

Dry day coming up, looking at the radar.

Rain could still develop this morning, but it's not looking good.

(Surely me saying that will now mean that it pours 😁)

All looks rather mediocre again. Nothing overnight and I thought we would get a bit. Next!

Zilch so far :( Turning into a very lean month atm. Need 100mm in the next nine days to get to our average :o

Radar doesn’t look too good, though winds are northerly around Geelong so suggests the trough hasn’t cleared. Timing on this trough is not good for much of Vic, with a big day of storms to our north and east when it passes during the arvo and evening.

EDIT> seriously frustrating radar with storms exploding just east of here :(

If Friday doesn't deliver, then it's another very below average Month for rain. And everyone was saying we were going to have a wet Spring....

We had more rain in May-Sept 2019 compared to this year, and that was with an El-Nino and near record +ve IOD. What gives?

A mere 0.2mm here. Woke briefly to the sound of thunder, which I am guessing was to my south. But just a brief shower here. We’re only on 13mm for the month so far - don’t think we’ll be getting anywhere near the average!

Two thunderstorm direct hits here; each only lasted minutes, yet delivered 7mm total - black on the radar.

Had about 0.1mm overnight, if that. One giant fizzer! :x

Very disappointing spring to date. Hopefully things improve during October.

Looks like I've had 8 times as much as anyone else on here. Loving it. My 0.8mm is a flood compared to the rest in the metro area 🤓🤓🤓

Just getting a couple of light showers this morning. All pretty pathetic with Lake Eppalock now being drained for environmental flows. Dropped 1.9% this week to 42%.

It’s only been spring for three weeks, let’s all settle down a bit.

As for La Niña, I’m waiting for the monsoon trough to appear in the Southern Hemisphere before I make any judgements on whether it’s a ‘fizzer’ or not. Wayyyyy too early in the season to start complaining (or you’d think, anyway).
