Just a few distant rumbles and a very fast heavy shower and then it was gone.
No severe storm warnings, nothing severe about it yet, again i took notice of the forecast of "it being potentially severe", and all the talk on the various weather forums of the perfect conditions for it to get nasty and moved all the plants and other things undercover, yet again for no point.
6mm here today, just a bit of struture, gusty winds, brief heavy rain and one rumble
Nice warm last few days loved the mid to high 20s and week of low 20s be nice this week with fair bit of rain coming for inland NSW and eastern Vic mid and late this week

Rain predictions continue to ramp up for Tassie later in the week. At the moment 75-120 mm from Thursday to Sunday in the northern half of Tasmania.
We are in need of a new thread for this system in Vic as well - it's been a while since I've seen a cold front like the one for Friday on BOM's latest 4 dayer
Finished on 10.0mm and month on 99.9mm (yep kid you not). Normally measure down to 0.2mm but on one day the tipping bucket had half a tip in it. Might check the gauge this morning just in case it has a 0.1mm sitting in it from fog yesterday morning Makes the third month in a row above average. Nice way to start the year.
