5.1mm here. Heavy to start and then gradually got lighter as the afternoon wore on. Sun is just poking out now.

That takes us to 102mm for the month, which was already above average after the heavy rains at the start of the month.

Just a few distant rumbles and a very fast heavy shower and then it was gone.

No severe storm warnings, nothing severe about it yet, again i took notice of the forecast of "it being potentially severe", and all the talk on the various weather forums of the perfect conditions for it to get nasty and moved all the plants and other things undercover, yet again for no point.

8.4mm here today, month to date 80.2mm.

Into 6 month home isolation for me, after 47 years here I know the place well, will know it even better by the release date.

6mm here today, just a bit of struture, gusty winds, brief heavy rain and one rumble

Nice warm last few days loved the mid to high 20s and week of low 20s be nice this week with fair bit of rain coming for inland NSW and eastern Vic mid and late this week

Big strong front next weekend likely switch us into winter time, long cold wet one on the way i feel sad times and even more depressing been house bound with CV.

Only good news about the wet winter is hopefully farmers do well this year

Enjoy the sunshine and warmth this week unsettled week ahead
Bring on the heat and stroms

We are in need of a new thread for this system in Vic as well - it's been a while since I've seen a cold front like the one for Friday on BOM's latest 4 dayer :o

Finished on 10.0mm and month on 99.9mm (yep kid you not). Normally measure down to 0.2mm but on one day the tipping bucket had half a tip in it. Might check the gauge this morning just in case it has a 0.1mm sitting in it from fog yesterday morning ;) Makes the third month in a row above average. Nice way to start the year.

Big event coming up, so new thread time.
