What a waste of all that rain. It’s just parked itself over the bay, serving no one

OK so in today’s forecast the least likely place in Tassie to get a storm was the central north. As I sit in my backyard here looking west we are about to get one
Half your luck
Always good to get summer rain (in today's climate).

This side of the bay won’t get anything at this rate... everything is being expended over water

Amazing amount of rain in Avalon and in such short period of time. 45mm now. Must be a phenomenal rain rate and causing all kinds of problems around there. The outer south western coastal suburbs now look to be in the firing line.
Cloud is starting to close in here now. It sure is hot - 35c at the moment with a strong northerly wind. Not quite as smoky now as it was earlier in the day. Looks like we may be picking a gap in the first bunch of showers/storms. Will see what happens when the main line approaches.

Developing a lot in the western suburbs. Wind change just came through the inner north. Heaps of rumbles and stormy just to the west. Expect to be dropping rain on radar soon. She's windy!
Go the bombersss!
