Did ya get any vid Macca?
No mate, apologies. All I can say is Benloch about 1km to my north got absolutely smashed. We just missed it.
I’ve never seen a storm develop and rotate like that before. It was sucking in the air from all directions. Crazy stuff.
Got away with hail the size of 20c pieces. Wouldn’t be surprised if there is damage around the area though.
All good! At least you are safe!!
@ Gordon, seen and saved
Edit: Nearly fell off my chair - down to 17c outside!!

29mm in the gauge at home, in about 30 min of rain and up to 50cent sized hail.
Closest BoM gauge is Moorabbin, and it got 2.8mm

That cell showing some interesting signatures, Adam. Probably going to pack a bit of a punch! Is the car parked under cover?
Can still hear rumbles here, not sure from which cells.

Good to hear, Adam! Better safe than sorry!
Thunder getting louder here in Cheltenham, must be from the non-severe stuff moving south now.

Now that was a storm!!! Lots of largish hail but the lightning and thunder was incredible!! Easily the best storm I’ve seen since I moved here from W.A.

Hearing a few rumbles from those cells to my West.
They are very slow moving and are not headed this way.

Just watered the gardens, seems we're just in the wrong spot for this one. Ah well!

Someone must be getting very wet from those cells, not moving
just propagating to the north a bit.

Just petered out after moving over the range unfortunately.
Curious to see what tomorrow brings. BOM progging 15-35mm for the city, which is bullish for them.
Just not very warm tomorrow... I've noticed time and time again if it's not warm or if it's too cloudy (or both) the storms just don't pack a punch no matter how good the other variables are.
Any rain will be welcome through
Sean
