North West:
Mostly cloudy conditions throughout. Some rain developing in Liguria by evening. South westerly winds increasing with rough seas along the Ligurian coast.

Aosta: 4-13 mostly cloudy
Turin: 1-9 mostly cloudy
Milan: 1-11 mostly cloudy
Genoa: 10-13 cloudy

North East:
Clouds increasing, especially in Emilia-Romagna. Temperatures will be cool. Winds will decrease slightly, with waves also decreasing.

Trento: 0-8 partly cloudy
Venice: 3-10 partly cloudy
Trieste: 6-12 partly cloudy
Bologna: 2-10 mostly cloudy

Central Italy:
Clouds increasing in Tuscany, sunny to partly cloudy elsewhere. Temperatures will be cool to mild. Winds will decrease slightly, with waves also decreasing.

Florence: 2-13 mostly cloudy
Perugia: 2-12 partly cloudy
Ancona: 3-13 partly cloudy
L'Aquila: -2to9 sunny

Southern Italy and Islands:
Some clouds about, but for the most part fine and mostly sunny. Cool to mild temperatures with winds decreasing. Waves will also decrease.

North West:
Scattered showers almost everywhere, with snow in the Alps above 1600m. Highs mostly decreasing. Strong winds with very rough seas along the Ligurian coasts.

Aosta: 4-7 showers
Turin: 5-7 showers
Milan: 6-7 showers
Genoa: 12-15 showers

North East:
Cloudy skies. Rain in Emilia, around Verona and in Trentino Alto Adige. With showers increasing elsewhere. Snow above 1800m in the Dolomites. Temperatures remaining stable. Light winds increasing at night. Mostly calm seas, becoming choppy by night.

Trento: 5-7 showers
Venice: 7-10 showers
Trieste: 9-12 cloudy
Bologna: 6-9 showers

Central Italy:
Clouds everywhere, thicker along the Tyrrhenian coasts. Rain falling along the Tuscan coast. Highs may slightly rise. Strong winds and rough seas along the coast of Tuscany.

North West:
Fine and mostly sunny all over the north-west. Maximum temperatures will be mild for winter. Winds becoming light. However the Ligurian Sea will still be rough.

Aosta: 1-11 sunny
Turin: 1-10 mostly sunny
Milan: 4-11 sunny
Genoa: 8-16 sunny

North East:
Sunny weather all over the north east, with some clouds in the Alps about Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia and along the Venetian coast. Maximum temperatures falling by a couple of degrees. Light to moderate northerly winds, with rough seas in the Adriatic.

Trento: 2-8 sunny
Venice: 3-10 sunny
Trieste: 8-13 mostly sunny
Bologna: 2-11 sunny

Central Italy:
Clouds along the Adriatic coast, with isolated showers in Abruzzo and Molise. Snow falling above 1000m. Maximum temps falling where the clouds are forming, mild temperatures in sunny areas. Strong northerly winds.

Perugia: 5-10 sunny
Ancona: 8-12 mostly cloudy

Thanks John, at times I will be able to show what the temps actually were as well as forecasts but the site I get them from don't update as often. So sometimes I post them, but you will see forecasts every day. (well whenever I can!)

Yesterday was fine and sunny over most of the country, was cloudy though in parts of the south and still very windy down there. In the north and centre, clear sunny with light winds.

North West:
Stable weather throughout, with clear skies and light winds from the north. Mild winter temperatures and smooth seas.

Aosta: 3-13 sunny
Turin: 3-10 mostly sunny
Milan: 3-11 sunny
Genoa: 9-15 sunny

North East:
Clouds developing in the Triveneto regions, with some flurries of snow in Alto Adige. Mostly sunny skies in Emilia-Romagna. Highs begining to fall with stronger northerly winds.

Trento: 3-10 mostly sunny
Venice: 2-10 sunny
Trieste: 6-12 mostly sunny
Bologna: 1-9 sunny

Central Italy:
Clouds and possible showers developing along the Abruzzo and Molise coasts. Sunny along the Tyrrhenian coasts, and Umbria. The weather will deteriorate in Le Marche by night. Not much change in temperatures, despite the strong northerly winds developing.

Florence: 0-14 sunny
Perugia: -1to12 sunny
Ancona: 3-11 mostly cloudy
L'Aquila: 4-9 mostly cloudy
Rome: 3-14 sunny
Campobasso: 4-7 partly cloudy

Southern Italy and Islands:
Apulia and Basilicata see the worse of conditions, with showers falling there, mostly in the evening. These showers will enter Calabria overnight. Fine elsewhere. Highs begining to fall wit moserate northerly winds and choppy seas.

Yesterday was very cold, especially in the north. With winds coming straight from Russia. There was some rain on the eastern coasts and south with fine weather on western sides.

Snow and Ice have closed the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway.

And strong winds are blowing from Sardinia south. In southern Italy, strong south easterly winds will turn northerly during the evening!

with the extreme cold in Italy, I have heard that some of the canals in Venice have begun to freeze....I am lookin for pics!!!
